Commands Reference

LayoutGen adds a set of commands to your CAD command line. You can run these by typing the command name or using the ribbon buttons.

Placement

• HPG -- Open the equipment picker to insert equipment by category and size
• III (or Shift+A) -- Quick-insert via search popup with size selection and placement jig
• EquipmentSearch (or Shift+S) -- Search and filter equipment; also swaps the selected entity
• MoveToWall -- Move an entity flush to a wall with automatic rotation
• AlignToEdge -- Align an entity flush against a wall or line

Editing

• ModifySecureEntity -- Modify width, height, origin, or attributes of a selected entity
• ChangeEquipmentType -- Swap the shape type on an existing placed entity
• EquipmentOptions -- Open size presets and attribute editing menu
• SetSecureAttr -- Set a single attribute tag and value on a selected entity

Scheduling and Export

• EquipmentSchedule -- Generate an equipment schedule table directly in the drawing
• ExportEquipmentSchedule -- Export the equipment schedule to an Excel (XLSX) file
• ExportSecureEntities -- Export all placed entities to a CSV file
• ExportPDF -- Export all title-block layouts to PDF

Utilities

• ReplaceOldBlocks -- Convert legacy HPG dynamic blocks to LayoutGen entities
• UpgradeSecureEntities -- Upgrade and re-layer existing entities after a plugin update
• RefreshPluginShapes -- Reload equipment definitions from the cloud without restarting
• AutoTag -- Tag entities with sequential area-prefixed codes (K-01, AB-01, etc.)
• ToggleElecText -- Toggle electrical specification text visibility
• HPGWall -- Create a wall entity
• HPGDoor -- Insert a door (single, double, or sliding) into a wall
