Installation

LayoutGen is distributed as a single plugin file. The process takes less than a minute.

AutoCAD

1. Download SecureArx.arx from your LayoutGen account dashboard
2. Open AutoCAD and type APPLOAD in the command line
3. Browse to the downloaded .arx file and click Load
4. To load automatically on startup, add the file to the Startup Suite in the APPLOAD dialog

ZWCAD

1. Download SecureArx.zrx from your account dashboard
2. Open ZWCAD and type APPLOAD in the command line
3. Browse to the .zrx file and click Load
4. Add to the Startup Suite for automatic loading

Verifying Installation

After loading, the LayoutGen ribbon panel should appear. You can also verify by typing HPG in the command line. If the equipment picker opens, the plugin is installed correctly.

Troubleshooting

• Plugin fails to load: Make sure you are running the 64-bit version of your CAD application
• Ribbon does not appear: Type CUILOAD and load the SecureArx.cuix file from the plugin folder
• License error: Ensure you are signed in to your LayoutGen account and have an active subscription
